Bronson Road Closure and Detour Beginning Tuesday, July 9

Bronson Road between Reunion Place and U.S. Highway 98 will experience road closures and detours beginning Tuesday, July 9, at 7 a.m. All traffic will be detoured along Juan Road and Reunion Place during the closure. The detour is expected to remain in effect for approximately 11 days.

Construction along Bronson Road will consist of asphalt cutting, installing wellpoints, digging across the roadway, installation of new concrete pipes, backfill and repaving of the affected roadway.

A formal Maintenance of Traffic Plan was submitted and approved by the Escambia County Engineering Department on June 24, 2024. Jordan Lee was responsible for submittal of the approved MOT Plan and has a valid certificate for Advanced MOT training.
