TRAFFIC ALERT New Castle County I 95/Rt 896 Interchange Upcoming Closures

The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) advises motorists that there will be daytime lane closures on northbound I-95 for truck access and overnight lane closures and lane shifts on northbound and southbound Route 896 for crane mobilization and concrete barrier placement.

I-95 IMPACTS
· Monday July 1st and Tuesday, July 2nd: Daytime lane closure, northbound I-95 from the Route 896 interchange to the Welcome Center (9AM-6PM)

Route 896 IMPACTS
· Monday July 1: Overnight Lane Closure and Lane Shift, Southbound Route 896 between the I-95 Interchange and the Old Baltimore Pike (10PM - 6AM)

· Tuesday July 2: Overnight Lane Closure, Northbound Route 896 from the Old Baltimore Pike to I-95 Interchange (10PM - 6AM)

· Tuesday July 2: Overnight Lane Closure, Southbound Route 896 from the I-95 Interchange to the Old Baltimore Pike (10PM - 6AM)
