Olathe Health recently received recognition for its quality outcomes, patient experience and other clinical measures from several esteemed organizations. Read below to learn more.

Named to Fortune/PINC AI's 15 Top Health Systems List

Fortune PINC recognized Olathe Health as one of the Top Five Small Health Systems on its 15 Top Health Systems list. Within the small sector, Olathe Health ranked third based on publicly available data from CMS to assess multiple performance areas including clinical outcomes, operation efficiency and patient experience.

Maintaining a Grade "A"
Olathe Medical Center maintained its "A" Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group, a national nonprofit organization focused on patient safety. Based on an "A" to "F" grade scale, this ranking system is designed to help patients make informed healthcare decisions, helping consumers better protect themselves and their loved ones from errors, injuries, accidents and infections. OMC is one of approximately 3,000 general acute-care hospitals in the United States evaluated bi-annually on more than 30 national performance measures from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid and other data sources.

First introduced nearly a decade ago, the hospital star rating system, which includes a five-star scale, uses 46 measures that are put into five categories (mortality, readmission, safety, patient experience, and timely and effective care).
