SEMO Featured in Princeton Review 2025 Best Colleges

The Princeton Review is a leading tutoring, test prep and college admissions service company that helps millions of college- and graduate school-bound students as well as working professionals achieve their education and career goals through its many education services and products.

The Princeton Review selected 631 colleges in seven regions to highlight outstanding academic quality. The selected universities named make up roughly 25 percent of all four-year colleges in the nation.

One hundred and fifty-one institutions were featured in "Best Midwest," which includes colleges from 12 states. The list is not ranked but is compiled to help guide prospective students in their college search process.

"We recommend SEMO as an excellent choice for students searching for their 'best-fit' college," said Rob Franek, editor-in-chief of the Princeton Review. "We selected SEMO for our 2025 Best Regional Colleges list primarily due to our high regard for their academics."

Over 2,000 college administrators are surveyed each year to collect information about academics, cost, campus life, student population, policies and services. There is also a student survey that is taken into consideration regarding the institutions.

Some of the student comments about Southeast included discussion of supportive professors, generous scholarships, breathtaking views of the Mississippi River and a welcoming environment.
