Ruben Rubinyan receives Ambassador of Iran to Armenia

On July 17, the Vice President of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia Mehdi Sobhani.

Welcoming the Ambassador in parliament, Ruben Rubinyan congratulated the interlocutor on successfully holding the snap presidential elections in Iran.

Touching upon the meeting with the Speaker of the Majlis of Iran Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf held recently, NA Vice President highly assessed the cooperation with Iran, including in the inter-parliamentary format. In this context the activity of the parliamentary Friendship Groups was underscored.

During the meeting ideas were exchanged on the issues regarding the Armenia-Iran bilateral agenda, the regional stability and security.
