Brixmor had a strong presence at this year's ICSC Southeast conference.
Lindsay Glick contributed to the panel "Mastering the Interview," which was targeted at ICSC student members. Moderated by Mattie Schloetzer, Manager of Intern Acquisition at ICSC, the panel covered essential topics such as building confidence, managing expectations, crafting a personal brand, networking, delivering an effective elevator pitch, researching employers, and mastering common interview questions. This session provided invaluable insights for students preparing to enter the industry.
In the Research Track's second year at ICSC @ Southeast, David Spawn also participated by moderating a panel. The session, attended by over 50 participants including many students from ICSC's college outreach program, focused on "Revitalizing the Tenant Mix to Align with Consumer Demands." This discussion explored how landlords are balancing value, luxury, convenience, entertainment, and food and beverage offerings to meet the evolving desires of consumers, including Gen Z, who seek a blend of affordability and premium experiences.
