During a working visit to the Poltava region, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with business representatives as part of the Made in Ukraine economic platform.

The Head of State thanked entrepreneurs and workers for staying in Ukraine and contributing to the national economy.

"It is important for us to preserve everything that is being made and was made in Ukraine. Thank you for your work, for your ideas, and most importantly, for preserving enterprises, which means preserving jobs and wages for people. This is a contribution to the preservation of Ukraine," said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The President emphasized that the state will do everything to strengthen the region's air defense.

During the meeting, the parties also discussed the restoration of the energy sector and opportunities for businesses. In particular, the "Affordable Loans 5-7-9%" program for purchasing energy equipment, the abolition of customs duties and import VAT for such equipment, and the simplification of procedures for installing self-generation.

First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy Yuliia Svyrydenko noted that this year, under the Made in Ukraine program, the Poltava region will receive at least UAH 1.8 billion.

"Agricultural producers are already receiving compensation for purchasing domestic agricultural machinery, industrial parks can now submit documents to banks for state reimbursement for the construction of engineering and transport infrastructure and connection to power grids, and investors ready to invest over EUR 12 million can now apply for compensation as well," noted Yuliia Svyrydenko.
