CLAYTON COUNTY OPENS COOLING CENTERS

(Jonesboro) Clayton County has five (5) cooling centers open to the public at local county recreation centers effective Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at the following locations:

Clayton County Parks & Recreation Centers Business Hours 8:00 am - 9:00 pm

Carl Rhodenizer Recreation Center

Virginia Gray Recreation Center

1475 East Fayetteville Road

Riverdale, GA 30274

Jim Huie Recreation Center & Steve Lundquist Aquatic Center

9045 Tara Boulevard

Jonesboro, GA 30236

Lake Spivey Recreation Center

2300 Walt Stephens Road Jonesboro, Georgia 30236

South Clayton Recreation Center
