Events DC Introduces New Walking Town App to Elevate City Exploration Experience

Events DCis excited to announce the release of the Walking Town mobile app, designed to transform the way participants engage with the city's annual Walking Town DC tours. This new app offers participants access to exclusive content, tour information and a virtual stamp collection feature that adds a fun and interactive element to exploring Washington, DC.

With the Walking Town mobile app, users can easily browse a variety of tours, events and community activations happening across the District. The app includes an interactive map, video content and the ability to earn digital stamps by attending registered tours, activations and the 25th Anniversary Closing Reception at Sycamore & Oak.

The app will officially debut at the 25th Anniversary Closing Reception on Sunday, September 22, 2024, from 1 to 4 p.m., at Sycamore & Oak. Attendees can enjoy live performances by FutureBandDC, cultural showcases and food from local vendors. Poet Taylor will emcee the event. Media are invited for photo and interview opportunities.
