Thompson Supports Passage of the FY2025 National Defense Authorization
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, U.S. Representative Glenn "GT" Thompson voted in favor of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2025. Upon passage, Rep. Thompson released the following statement:
"This year's National Defense Authorization Act makes a substantial investment in personnel, equipping warfighters with the tools and resources necessary to counter rapidly development global threats, while ensuring continued deterrence from America's foreign adversaries.
"With a focus on our brave men and women in uniform, I am especially pleased with the inclusion of the Military Housing Transparency and Accountability Act, a bill I authored to ensure all military families have access to safe, affordable, and functional housing."
The Military Housing Transparency and Accountability Act expands access to a centralized assessment tool for members of the Armed Forces and their families to identify, rate, and compare housing options.
