Archer AS – Snorre A – materials handling in the drilling area

The audit was conducted on 8 May 2024.

Objective

The objective of the audit was to verify that the company's management of lifting operations relating to drilling activities complied with the regulatory requirements.

Result

No non-conformities were detected during this audit.

Two improvement points were identified concerning:

• training and practice in the use of the personnel basket in the drilling area
• condition monitoring of BOP crane

We have asked Archer AS to give us its assessment of the improvement points observed by 1 August 2024.
