Explore Sutter’s Landing Regional Park concepts at Dec. 12 meeting

The Department of Youth, Parks, & Community Enrichment (YPCE) will host a second Community Open House on Dec. 12 to gather public input on the design and development of Sutter's Landing Regional Park.

YPCE is currently updating the park amenities plan and neighbors and partners of the park are invited to attend and provide feedback on updated concepts and vision for future improvements.

Event Details:

  • Date: Thursday, December 12, 2024
  • Time: 6-8 p.m.
  • Location: Clunie Community Center Auditorium (601 Alhambra Blvd.)

"The department's goal is to develop a regional park that reflects the needs and vision of our community for several decades," said Senior Planner Dana Repan. "The overwhelming response to our previous survey and participation at the first community open house demonstrates the passion our residents have for Sutter's Landing Regional Park. We're excited to continue this collaboration and ensure the park evolves into a space everyone can enjoy."

The City received more than 800 responses to its community survey on Sutter's Landing Regional Park, which will help inform the development of the site plan update and accompanying guidebook for future amenities and improvements.

Updated plans will be shared at the Open House, and community feedback will be instrumental in refining the vision for the park. Attendees will also receive updates on the Two Rivers Trail Phase 3 and ADA River Access Trail projects.

The park currently has many amenities including basketball and bocce courts, a dog park and the 28th & B Skate Park.
