Congressman Veasey Releases Statements to Honor Veterans Day- 2024

Washington, D.C. - On Veterans Day, November 11, 2024, U.S. Congressman Marc Veasey (TX-33) released the following statement honoring our nation's veterans:

"Our country stands strong today because of the bravery and selfless service of those who have worn the uniform. On November 11th, Americans come together to honor and express our gratitude to the courageous service members who have given so much to protect our freedoms. Our veterans risked their lives to defend our nation, and they deserve not only our thanks today but our respect and appreciation every day.

As a proud member of the Armed Services Committee, I have had the privilege of meeting with thousands of veterans and their families, both from across the country and right here in the DFW area. It is an honor to serve as their representative in Congress, and I remain committed to advancing legislation that ensures they receive the recognition, care, and benefits they and their families deserve."
