Date: November 18, 2024

Author: ASRM

At the 2024 ASRM Scientific Congress & Expo, ASRM was excited to continue the Career Pathway Program, an innovative initiative aimed to inspire and engage the next generation of reproductive medicine professionals. The program brought together a diverse group of participants, including:

  • 4 medical students from the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine
  • 24 embryology students from Colorado State University
  • 15 mentors from the field of reproductive medicine

The program was made possible through the generous sponsorship of CooperSurgical and EMD Serono.

Throughout the day, participants had the opportunity to network with peers and mentors, gain insights from seasoned reproductive medicine practitioners, attend educational sessions covering topics such as clinical practice, research, and laboratory techniques, and connect with fellow students during lunch and the Society Social Hour. The program was designed to provide a comprehensive overview of the field of reproductive medicine and to inspire students to pursue careers in this field.

The success of the 2024 Career Pathway Program demonstrates the importance of early exposure to the field of reproductive medicine. By fostering the next generation of reproductive medicine professionals, ASRM is ensuring the continued advancement of this vital medical specialty. As we look to the future, ASRM is committed to expanding the Career Pathway Program to reach even more students and to provide them with the tools and resources they need to succeed within this field.
