MDOT virtual public open house Oct. 23 on M-3 (Gratiot Avenue) in Detroit

DETROIT, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is hosting a virtual open house for the public to learn more about and provide input on a planning and environmental linkage (PEL) study for M-3 (Gratiot Avenue) between Randoph Street and M-102 (8 Mile Road) in the city of Detroit. Attendees will be able to view project information and provide comments on the final PEL report. Project staff will be present and available to answer questions.

Background:
Land use and traffic patterns have changed over the years and MDOT is looking for input on the future of the interchange. The outcome of this study will help to meet future transportation needs and improve mobility and safety.

In addition to the open house, comments and input can also be submitted online throughout the study.
