Residents can have their say on proposals for a new play area and improvements at Old Rough Park in Northwood, Kirkby.
The community is being invited to view the proposals at a series of drop in events and to share their views by completing an online survey.
The proposed improvements include a new play area at the Old Rough Lane section of the park, as well as improved entrances, wildflower enhancements and an increase in community activities on site.
Following the removal of damaged and vandalised park equipment in May 2023, community engagement has been taking place - with residents' views reflected in the current proposals for the site.
A number of improvements have already been made at Old Rough including woodland blocks being thinned to improve sight lines between pathways and improve the health of the trees, and the Native English meadowlands are currently being managed with a sympathetic mowing regime.
The consultation will run from Monday, 8 July, with residents able to submit surveys up to the closing date of Friday, 9 August. You can complete the survey here.
There will be a number of drop in events where residents can view proposals and have their queries answered. They're on:
Thursday, 11 July, 3pm-5pm - Kirkby Christian Fellowship Building, Old Rough Ln, Liverpool L33 0YL
Saturday, 20 July, 11am-1pm - Old Rough Park, Kirkby - Behind Quarry Green Heights
Tuesday, 1 August,1pm - 3pm - Old Rough Park, Kirkby - Behind Quarry Green Heights
