Lynn University reports record enrollment for Fall 2024

Lynn University welcomed a new class of students from 62 countries and 37 states and began the 2024-25 academic year with its second largest enrollment in the university's history. With over 3,500 students, the university continues to experience dynamic growth as it enhances campus. This fall, students and faculty benefit from expanded wellness programs, technology upgrades and new international programs, reinforcing Lynn's commitment to providing an innovative, global and personalized learning experience.

"As we embark on a new academic year, we are thrilled to welcome another vibrant group of students who have chosen Lynn for their educational journey," said Vice President for Enrollment and University Advancement Gareth Fowles. "This year's campus and academic program enhancements are a direct response to the growing aspirations of our students, underscoring our commitment to deliver a globally-focused education that prepares them for the workforce."

The start of the fall semester at Lynn sees the arrival of 1,100 new students. Among these are 900 new undergraduate students and 260 graduate students. In addition, the incoming undergraduate class is 20% international.

What's new on campus

Since opening its doors last year, the university's Snyder Center for Health and Wellness logged nearly 45,000 visits. The new center provides a dedicated strength and conditioning space for student-athletes and offers a range of activities for faculty, staff and students. The university also offers weekly programming and wellness services to support both student and employee health throughout the year.

Lynn introduced a major technology upgrade with its launch of Workday Student. This new system streamlines student and faculty interactions with administrative tasks, improving efficiency across campus. Students now have a one-stop shop to register for classes, access their academic records, manage financial aid and more.

Global learning and campus developments

The International Programs and Services team is continuing to provide innovative global learning opportunities abroad in conjunction with major courses. In addition, Ambassador Corps, which includes eight weeks of volunteering abroad, returned this summer through Lynn's Social Impact Lab.

Further expanding student life, Lynn broke ground on a new residence hall that will add 287 beds to campus and promises modern, affordable living options. The new residence hall is scheduled to open by Fall 2025.

"We're eager to share the enhancements to our campus and educational programs with Lynn's new and returning students," said President Kevin M. Ross. "These updates were carefully planned and executed to enrich our community and further support the educational growth of each student. We remain dedicated to fostering a supportive environment for all members of our Lynn community, ensuring that we continue to meet the evolving needs of our global student body."
