As Official Vehicle partner of the Rose Parade® for over 30 years strong, Honda will bring an inspirational float to Pasadena in 2025 - "Electrified Dreams" - highlighting the company's commitment to sustainability and its challenging global goal of zero emissions for all mobility products and business operations by 2050.
"Electrified Dreams" also marks a Rose Parade first - a fully electrified vehicle fleet will lead the Rose Parade for the first time in its 136-year history - including the new Honda Prologue, the brand's first all-electric SUV, the first all-electric Acura model, the ZDX Type S performance SUV and the Honda Motocompacto, a compact "last mile" e-scooter.
Designed to explore the harmonious interplay between organic and man-made materials with elements that incorporate LED lights and roses, the float highlights the delicate ecosystem shared by all and is symbolic of the company's commitment to preserving the environment for future generations to pursue their dreams.
"The Rose Parade is an annual opportunity for Honda to celebrate The Power of Dreams and, this year, the power of 'electrified dreams' that reflect our commitment to sustainable mobility," said Jennifer Symington, assistant vice president of Marketing for American Honda. "We hope to inspire everyone watching the Rose Parade that with our Honda Prologue and Acura ZDX, and the Honda Motocompacto e-scooter, the electrified future will help us achieve carbon neutrality, and deliver a whole lot of fun!"
The Honda "Electrified Dreams" float will be featured prominently in the 2025 Rose Parade Opening Spectacular - "Best Day Ever" - with a memorable kickoff performance featuring special Xtreme sport athletes, utilizing a trampoline and surrounded by dazzling pyrotechnics. Two iconic performers will take to the stage: Aloe Blacc, whose viral track "Wake Me Up" has been streamed over two billion times worldwide, and platinum-recording artist Kiesza, whose viral songs consistently reach the top of Billboard dance charts.
