Director-General of the Department of European Affairs discussed with Mrs. Monika Krzewicka, Chargé d'affaires of the Republic of Poland to Thailand

On 10 October 2024, Mrs. Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, discussed with Mrs. Monika Krzewicka, Chargé d'affaires of the Republic of Poland to Thailand.

Both sides discussed ways to promote bilateral and multilateral ties, including trade, investment, defence, tourism, consular affairs and visa facilitation, Polish-ASEAN ties and Thai-EU ties. On this occasion, the Polish side also congratulated Thailand's successful bid for the membership of the United Nations' Human Rights Council (HRC) for the term 2025 - 2027 and expressed their appreciation for the recent meeting between the Foreign Ministers of both countries during the 79th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA79) in New York.
