GW community enjoyed the lighting of a bonfire in University Yard for "Lights Out, Frights Out." (William Atkins/GW Today)
Members of the George Washington University community celebrated Halloween with costumes, live music, snacks, games and alcohol safety tips during events celebrating the season.
People gathered at University Yard Wednesday night for Nightmare on H Street presents,"Lights Out, Frights Out," a boo-filled bonfire sponsored by GW University Events and the Program Board. The GW community present enjoyed a warm, pleasant evening outside with delicious treats, live music and of course a roaring bonfire.
On Halloween night Thursday, the North Village team with Health Promotion & Education sponsored the "Boo Bash" on Kogan Plaza for an evening of games, snacks and educational games about alcohol safety.
