Solventum Completes Spin-off from 3M

Begins trading on the New York Stock Exchange

On April 1, Solventum completed its spin-off from 3M and the newly independent healthcare company began trading on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the ticker symbol "SOLV." By pioneering game-changing innovations at the intersection of health, material and data science, Solventum is advancing solutions that change patients' lives for the better - while enabling healthcare professionals to perform at their best.

The Solventum business had sales of $8.2 billion in 2023 while part of 3M and is made up of 22,000 employees led by Bryan Hanson as chief executive officer, Wayde McMillan as chief financial officer and Carrie Cox as board chair.
