Air China's first flight from London Gatwick Airport to Beijing, China, took place at the beginning of June. This new route will offer a daily flight between the two capitals.

This link strengthens the commercial ties between the two capitals and opens up new prospects for business opportunities between the UK region and Beijing, facilitating international trade and partnerships. The daily flights also represent a significant step forward for business travellers and tourists, consolidating London and Beijing's role as major hubs for world trade.
The first flight departing from London Gatwick carried more than 240 passengers, achieving an occupancy rate of over 90%, according to the airline's London office.
Earlier this year, London Gatwick announced 10 new weekly flights to China this summer, operated by the airlines Air China and China Southern. These new flights bring the total number of weekly flights from London Gatwick to China to 26.
