Russian Interference in 2024 Election

The Biden administration accused Vladimir Putin of orchestrating a covert campaign to influence the coming U.S. presidential election and erode international support for Ukraine, blaming the Kremlin for targeting American voters with political propaganda and disinformation, as the WSJ reports.

Biden Preparing to Block Nippon Steel Purchase of U.S. Steel

President Joe Biden is preparing to announce that he will formally block Nippon Steel's proposed $14.9 billion acquisition of U.S. Steel, as The Washington Post reports.

Ukraine Reshuffling

Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, one of Ukraine's most recognizable faces on the international stage, resigned Wednesday ahead of an expected reshuffling of government leaders. Russian strikes, meanwhile, killed seven people in a western city, a day after one of the deadliest missile attacks since the war began, as the AP reports.
