On August 30, 2024, at approximately 6:30 AM, members of the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Joaquin Gadson, age 26 of 31 Mechanic Avenue, 2R, Woonsocket, RI for 1.) Electrotonically Disseminating Indecent Material to a Minor. Mr. Gadson was transported to the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks for processing then transported to Sixth District Court. Mr. Gadson was arraigned by Judge Isherwood and issued bail at $2,500 with surety to include limited internet and no unsupervised contact with minors.

On Friday, August 30, 2024, at approximately 2:00PM, members of the HIDTA Task Force and Lincoln Woods Barracks, arrested Raul Soto, age 50, of 167 West Street #1 Woonsocket, Rhode Island, for the following 1.) Possession of Cocaine Greater than 1kg 2.) Possession of Cocaine 1oz-1kg 3.) Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance - Cocaine 4.) Possession of a Firearm while Committing a Controlled Substance Violation 5.) Possession of Firearms by Prohibited Persons. This arrest was the result of a narcotics investigation. Mr. Soto was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks for processing, arraigned before a Justice of the Peace, held without bail, and later transported to the ACI Intake Service Center pending his formal arraignment in Sixth Division District Court.

On August 30, 2024, at approximately 2:30 PM, members of the Special Victims Unit arrested Elliott Rivera, age 46, last known address of 30 Howard Avenue, Cranston, Rhode Island for Sexual Offender Registration- Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. Arrest was the result of an investigation by the Special Victims Unit. Rivera was taken into custody by the Providence Police Department with additional charges. Rivera was arraigned in 6th District Court and held without bail.
