Celebrate cultural treasures with​ Heritage Days at MGallery

MGallery Hotel Collection is championing history around the world with Heritage Days​. More than 60 renowned MGallery hotels are set to throw open their doors for locals and travellers to explore. For the second consecutive year, MGallery Hotel Collection is paying tribute to​ its heritage.

This september sees European Heritage Days, a vibrant, annual celebration of culture, art architecture, set to return with its 41st edition. The once-a-year festival sees privately-owned historical and architectural treasures throw open their doors, giving locals and travellers alike the chance to explore their diverse cultural legacies.​

While traditionally celebrated within Europe, MGallery Hotel Collection, a champion of local heritage, will join in the festivities with its hotels participating around the world. Following last year's success, 2024 will see over 60 MGallery properties open to the public, providing the chance for communities to experience their local heritage.

The expertly curated experiences will let guests explore and live the storied past of some of the brand's most iconic buildings and monuments, for free. From musical and artistic immersions to culinary adventures, each bookable open day has been tailored to each hotel's unique history and the cultural patrimony of its surrounding areas.

Explorebeautifularchitecturein Europe

The AigleNoirHotelFontainebleau-MGalleryCollectionin France will be opening its doors for guided tours of the beautiful building which the hotel calls home. Built in the 16th century, the building has a strong link to one of France's most favoured and elaborate palaces, Château de Fontainebleau. As part of this unique experience, participants can enjoy a cocktail tasting in the hotel's Le Montijo bar and take part in Jeu de Paume, a French tennis-like sport dating back to the 11th century.

In Vienna, the cultural hub of immense artistic legacy shaped by Mozart and Beethoven, HotelAmKonzerthaus-MGalleryCollection will open to a series of events centred around the flair of the local music scene. Situated just a few minutes' walk from Vienna State Opera Hall, guests will get to explore the world- famous 1,709-seated Renaissance music house by August Sikkard von Sikkardsburg, before returning to the hotel to enjoy a 'then and now' photo exhibition of the concert hall with cocktails and canapes on offer.

In Vietnam, Hoteldel'OperaHanoi-MGalleryCollection, is a stone's throw away from the Hanoi Opera House, and with a special musical event taking place on the rooftop courtyard, the hotel is the perfect location to enjoy the city's gorgeous views. The 'Music Box High Tea' party will offer guests special 3D ice creams, showcasing Hanoi's famous landmarks, and signature cocktail pairings, while they take in the magnificent cityscape and enjoy in the music.

The tour will tell the story of the town's creative soul, immersing guests in the vibrant atmosphere of the cobbled streets. The tour will be led by a local guide who will share the history of the town, while showcasing local artists, including ZeMog, whose works of art also adorn the MGallery hotel.

Situated next to the Warwick Farm Racecourse, WillianInglis-MGalleryCollectionpays homage to Australia's equestrian heritage. Visitors will be able to experience guided tours around the hotel's grounds, learning about the Inglis family and its ties to horse racing and the land. The hotel has partnered with the local Aboriginal Land Council to educate visitors on the Darug Nation, which the hotel operates on, along with the rich history of the Cabrogal People, who are the Traditional Custodians of the land.
