November 9: Sound the Alarm

Home fires claim seven lives every day, but having working smoke alarms can cut the risk of death by half. The American Red Cross, in collaboration with the Lowell Fire Department, is calling on volunteers to help install free smoke alarms at the Sound the Alarm event in Lowell on November 9.

Volunteer for a rewarding day or sign up for free smoke alarm installation for your home. Up to three alarms can be installed per household.
