City of Rancho Cucamonga Finalizes Long-Term Lease Agreement with Rancho Baseball LLC, Securing Quakes' Future at LoanMart Field

The City of Rancho Cucamonga is proud to announce the signing of a new 15-year lease agreement with Rancho Baseball LLC, securing the long-term future of the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes at LoanMart Field. This partnership reinforces the Quakes' deep-rooted presence in the city and ensures that fans will continue to enjoy high-quality baseball for years to come. With the approval of this new lease agreement, construction on the improvements needed for LoanMart Field to meet the MiLB facility specs by 2025 will begin immediately.

The Quakes, a key part of the Rancho Cucamonga community since 1993, trace their franchise history back to 1966 in Lodi, California. After making stops in Ventura and San Bernardino, the team found its permanent home in Rancho Cucamonga, where it has thrived for over three decades. Under this new agreement, the City of Rancho Cucamonga and Rancho Baseball LLC will work together to continue offering residents and visitors the unique and exciting experience of Minor League Baseball.

"We are thrilled to extend our partnership with Rancho Baseball LLC and secure the Quakes' home in Rancho Cucamonga for another 15 years," said L. Dennis Michael, Rancho Cucamonga Mayor. "The Quakes have brought decades of joy and excitement to our community, and this agreement ensures their legacy continues."

Since their inaugural game at The Epicenter on April 8, 1993, the Quakes have become a beloved institution in Rancho Cucamonga. The team has produced over 60 alumni who have gone on to play in the Major Leagues, including notable names like Mike Trout, Corey Seager, and Cody Bellinger.

"Rancho Cucamonga has embraced the Quakes as more than just a baseball team - we're part of the community's fabric", said Brent Miles, Rancho Cucamonga Quakes Baseball President. "This new lease ensures that we can continue building memories with our fans, investing in our facilities, and delivering top-tier entertainment for years to come."

The franchise has been affiliated with several Major League Baseball teams throughout its history, including the San Diego Padres, Anaheim Angels, and Los Angeles Dodgers. The Quakes have been affiliated with the Dodgers since 2011, a partnership that has contributed to many memorable seasons, including the team's best performance in 2018 when they set multiple franchise records.
