Fact Check: Don Bacon Sides With Trump & MAGA Extremists Every Time

There's nothing Don Bacon loves to do more than talk about himself, and he's at it again. In a new op-ed, Don Bacon is yet again desperately trying to convince the Washington media that he's bipartisan in order to protect his own political career and boost his ego.

But he can't hide the truth that he's beholden to Donald Trump and his MAGA party bosses. While Bacon attempts to sell himself as bipartisan, here's the truth:

1. Bacon has endorsed Trump every single time he's been on the ballot. Bacon even got caught using his office to do special favors for Trump, helping a Trump Media executive jump the line for a visa just weeks after the former president threatened to recruit a primary challenger against Bacon.

1. Bacon co-sponsored a national abortion ban three times with no exceptions for rape, incest, or the woman's life and that could outlaw IVF.

1. Bacon sided with Trump to pass his tax scam that raised taxes on middle class families, while Tony Vargas helped pass the two largest property tax cuts in Nebraska history.

1. Bacon has repeatedly opposed bipartisan legislation that would help Nebraska families get ahead, including the CHIPS and Science Act that's creating good-paying union jobs, the bipartisan border bill that Bacon and his party killed because Trump told them to, and common sense gun safety legislation that would keep families safe.
