ICYMI: Mike Rogers Calls to Reinstate Trump Corporate Tax Giveaway that Enriches Himself and Hurts Michiganders

"There's no tax cut I don't like." -Mike Rogers

LANSING - New reporting today details Mike Rogers renewing his calls to reinstate the Trump corporate tax giveaway which slashes tax rates for large corporations and the ultra-wealthy. Rogers even went as far to say "there's no tax cut I don't like."

The Trump corporate tax giveaway bill helped billionaires pay less taxes than the working class in 2018. People with the highest income reaped most of the benefits from the legislation.

"Mike Rogers continues to work to enrich himself at the expense of working families. Rogers' record is clear - he is only out for himself, even when it hurts Michiganders," said Michigan Democratic Party spokesperson Sam Chan.

Rogers has an extensive record of selling out Michiganders to enrich himself. In Congress, Rogers cozied up to big corporations, so he could walk through the revolving door afterwards and make an "explosion of wealth" "advising companies on issues he dealt with in Congress." The Trump corporate tax giveaway bill would enrich the wealthy few like Rogers and big corporations while hurting working Michiganders.
