DALLAS - To ensure timely notifications are received, Dallas ISD urges families to create a Parent Portal account and keep contact information updated. Accurate details are crucial to stay informed regarding school updates or emergencies throughout the year.

Parents can access the portal using their district login information at www.dallasisd.org/parents.

Lead by example: Become Principal for a Day
Dallas ISD invites business and civic leaders to volunteer to be a Principal for a Day. Participants will have the chance to witness the impactful work happening in classrooms across the district. Volunteers will also get a chance to contribute their expertise, inspire students, and gain a deeper understanding of the strengths and complexities within our schools.

Dallas ISD opens five new schools
Students at five Dallas ISD elementary schools started the new year in brand-new buildings. These state-of-the-art facilities are designed to offer students dynamic learning spaces in a secure environment. John Quincy Adams, Everette L. DeGolyer, Geneva Heights, and George Peabody elementary schools, as well as Hall Personalized Learning Academy at Oak Cliff, are the first of 16 Bond 2020 program replacement buildings.
