FARGO, N.D. - Sanford Health Fargo is hosting, "Survivorship Retreat: An event for women who are cancer survivors." The free event takes place on Thursday, Sept. 26, from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Synclaire Events Venue, 613 1st Ave. N., Fargo.

You're a cancer survivor from the moment you're diagnosed. This event is an opportunity for cancer survivors to explore renewal, connect with others who understand and have had similar journeys and find power within themselves. The event is a chance for cancer survivors to receive encouragement and learn from cancer experts in a comfortable space.

The retreat features speakers who will cover a variety of topics, including:
• Benefits of healthy living during survivorship
• Emotional aspects of cancer
• Impact of cancer on a person's sexual health and hormones

Dinner will be provided, and attire is business casual. For more information on the event, visit sanfordhealth.org/survivorship-retreat.
