Bicyclists and pedestrians should be advised of detoured routes for trail access
PHILADELPHIA - Department of Streets Commissioner Kristin Del Rossi announced that the electric gates at the Race Street railroad crossing to the Schuylkill River Trail have malfunctioned, making the crossing unsafe for users. The gates were closed on Wednesday, July 3, and will remain closed until repairs can be made. Repairs are scheduled to begin the week of July 8.
