McDonald’s Proposal for 200 Skokie Boulevard

The Village Board unanimously (6-0) voted to deny the McDonald's application at 200 Skokie Boulevard at the January 9 meeting.

Previously, the Zoning Board of Appeals held a public hearing on December 6 regarding the application for a McDonald's restaurant with drive-through at 200 Skokie Boulevard (former site of Baker's Square). The Zoning Board voted to recommend the request, with the condition that the business cease operations at 10:00 p.m. rather than 1:00 a.m. as proposed in their application. The Zoning Board meeting may be viewed from the Village's website at the following link; the meeting is also re-broadcast on schedule on local cable Channel 6.
