PSC Sets Local Public Hearing Schedule in Ameren Missouri Electric Rate Case pr 25 15

The Missouri Public Service Commission (PSC) is announcing local public hearings starting on Jan. 21, 2025, to receive customer comments in an electric rate case filed by the Union Electric Company d/b/a Ameren Missouri. There will be in-person and virtual local public hearings.

Ameren Missouri has filed a rate increase request with the PSC. The requested increase would total approximately $446 million for an approximate increase of 15.49%. For the average residential customer, the proposed increase would be approximately 15.77% or $17.45 per month. Ameren Missouri serves approximately 1.2 million electric customers in Missouri.

Below is the local public hearing schedule:

Jan. 21-Cape Girardeau
.Osage Centre, Room 1AB, 1625 N. Kingshighway. The hearing starts at 6:00 p.m., beginning with a public information/question-and-answer session followed by the Commission receiving testimony from the public.
Jan. 22-St. Charles. St. Charles County Administration Building, Room 116, 201 N. 2nd Street. The hearing starts at Noon, beginning with a public information/question-and-answer session followed by the Commission receiving testimony from the public.
Jan. 22-St. Louis. St. Louis Community College-Forest Park, 5600 Oakland Ave., Student Center Cafeteria. The hearing starts at 6:00 p.m., beginning with a public information/question-and-answer session followed by the Commission receiving testimony from the public.
Jan. 23-Jefferson City. Governor Office Building, Room 310, 200 Madison Street. The hearing starts at Noon, beginning with a public information/question-and-answer session followed by the Commission receiving testimony from the public.

Jan. 27-Sunset Hills. Sunset Hills Council Chambers, 3939 S. Lindbergh Blvd. The hearing starts at Noon, beginning with a public information/question-and-answer session followed by the Commission receiving testimony from the public.

You can also download the Cisco WebEx meetings application on your mobile device, laptop, desktop or tablet prior to the hearing and join the meeting at the hearing time by entering the corresponding meeting number/access code and password listed above.

The Commission has scheduled seven local public hearings. Any person may participate at any of the hearings, but are encouraged to attend the hearing corresponding to the location nearest to their service area for the most relevant information. In order to ensure broad participation and the ability for every citizen to offer comments, comments may be time-limited.

These local public hearings will be held in facilities that meet the accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
