Ameriprise Financial Donates $300,000 to Support Hurricane Relief Efforts

Aid to four nonprofits will help families, individuals and communities in the aftermath of the storms

MINNEAPOLIS - Oct. 11, 2024 - Ameriprise Financial (NYSE: AMP) today announced it has made a $300,000 donation to help those impacted by Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton. Following the horrific devastation and flooding across Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia, the firm donated to the following nonprofit organizations:

• $150,000 to American Red Cross to provide immediate relief to the communities impacted by these deadly storms.
• $100,000 to SBP, a national nonprofit dedicated to helping communities with disaster recovery and increasing long-term resilience.
• $25,000 to Feeding America to support hunger relief efforts and the added need at food banks. This donation is in addition to the ongoing annual support the firm has provided to Feeding America since establishing a partnership in 2009.
• $25,000 to the Animal Humane Society of the United States to transport animals to safety, help devastated animal shelters, and supply food, resources and veterinary care.

Ameriprise has a long history of giving back.
