Thompson Falls, Mont. - Oct. 30, 2024 - NorthWestern Energy invites the community to join the conversation about potential upgrades and enhancements for Wild Goose Landing Park at a public meeting at 6 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Rex Theatre, 1033 W. Main St., Thompson Falls.
A relocation of the park's boat launch away from the swimming area is being evaluated to enhance safety. Other upgrades being explored include accessible restroom facilities and a covered picnic area.
"We are requesting residents join this conversation so that the investments NorthWestern Energy makes at Wild Goose Landing Park ensure that users of this site enjoy it safely for decades to come," said NorthWestern Energy Manager Hydro License Compliance Andy Welch. "Wild Goose Landing is also a landmark that welcomes visitors to the community. It's important to have local insight about its future."
