Main Street road closure planned for natural gas line maintenance

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Clarksville Gas & Water has planned a road closure on Main Street on Wednesday, August 14, at 6:30 a.m. from N 1st Street to N 2nd Street.

Traffic will be detoured to N 1st Street and N 2nd Street to avoid the work zone. Motorists are advised to slow down and be alert to workers and their equipment or to choose an alternate travel route when possible.

The natural gas line maintenance work is anticipated to be finished and the road reopened by approximately 2:30 p.m.­­­­­­­
