Ohio Trauma System Update

The Ohio Department of Public Safety, Division of EMS has been notified that Lima Memorial Health System ("LMHS") was not verified as a Level II Trauma Center following a May 7, 2024 site visit by the American College of Surgeons. LMHS remains committed to providing adult trauma care consistent with a Level II Trauma Center, and is permitted to operate at that level on provisional status until the reverification process is complete.
