OME Case #2024-03509
On Sept. 09, 2024, at 6:53 p.m., the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner was notified of a death in the 2000 block of N. Broadway. Quinci Byrd, DOB 03/22/1990, was pronounced deceased on scene. An autopsy was completed. The cause and manner of death are pending investigation.
OME Case #2024-03808
On Oct. 2, 2024, at 12:13 a.m., the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner was notified of a death at University of Colorado Hospital. Jamel King, DOB 12/04/1996, was transported by ambulance from the 4300 block of Peoria Street. An autopsy was completed. The cause of death is from a gunshot wound. The manner of death is homicide.

On Sept. 30, 2024, at 1:25 p.m., the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner was notified of a death at Denver Health Medical Center. Payton Valdez, DOB 09/22/1993, was transported by ambulance from the area of Garfield Street and 6th Avenue following a collision on a motorcycle with another vehicle. An autopsy was completed. The cause of death is from blunt force injuries.

On Sept. 29, 2024, at 1:10 p.m., the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner was notified of a death at Denver Health Medical Center. Isaiah Martinez, DOB 11/06/2003, was transported by ambulance from the area of S. Lipan Street and W. Evans Avenue. An autopsy was completed. The cause of death is from a stab wound. The manner of death is homicide.
