2024 Holiday Vaccine Shipping Schedule - Vaccines for Children and 317

Vaccines for Children (VFC) and 317 vaccine ordering will be limited during the upcoming holidays. In anticipation of the holiday shipping/delivery schedule, providers should plan accordingly to ensure appropriate vaccine inventory. To facilitate the timely delivery of vaccine, the Ohio Department of Health encourages providers to submit vaccine orders into the Vaccine Ordering Management System (VOMS) as soon as possible.

November Vaccine Shipment:

There will be no orders delivered from McKessonbetween November 27, 2024, and November 29, 2024. Limited direct shipment deliveries from Merck (frozen - Varivax or ProQuad) and Pfizer (COVID-19 vaccine) may occur on Wednesday, November 27.

December Ordering Deadline:

Orders must be submitted into VOMS by noon Thursday, December 12, 2024. Orders placed after this date may not ship prior to January 2025.

There will be no orders delivered from McKessonbetween December 23, 2024, and January 2, 2025. Limited direct shipment deliveries from Merck (frozen - Varivax or ProQuad) and Pfizer (COVID-19 vaccine) may occur during this time.

There will be no vaccine deliveriesfrom December 24, 2024 through December 26, 2024 and, January 1, 2025 through January 2, 2025.
