Upcoming Date & Time Changes for City Commission Meetings

The City Commission voted on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, to move one of its monthly commission meetings to an afternoon start time to allow for more Panama City citizens to attend. The second meeting of the month which occurs on the fourth Tuesday of the month will now begin at 4:00 p.m. and end at 7:00 p.m. The meetings will still occur at the Bay County Government Center located at 840 W 11th Street, Panama City, FL 32401.

The first meeting of the month which occurs on the second Tuesday of the month will still occur at its normal 8:00 a.m. time, also at the Bay County Government Center.

In the month of September, City Commission Meetings will not be held on the second and fourth Tuesday; rather, the second and fourth Thursday (September 12 and 16). They will be held at the Bay County Government Center and they will both begin at 8 a.m. There will be no afternoon start time for commission meetings held in September.

On September 12 and 16, following the commission meetings, there will be a budget hearing for fiscal year 2025 at City Hall in room 010 beginning promptly at 5:01 p.m.

Thursday, September 12th, 2024, 8:00 a.m., CDT

Thursday, September 26th, 2024, 8:00 a.m., CDT

Both meetings will be held in the Bay County Government Center.

Budget Hearings:

Thursday, September 12th, 2024, 5:01 p.m., CDT

Thursday, September 26th, 2024, 5:01 p.m., CDT

Both hearings will be held in Room 10 at City Hall
