New UC Board of Trustees Member Announced


The University of Charleston Board of Trustees has elected a new member, D.F. Mock III, Regional President-West Virginia Markets, United Bank. Mock will serve a three-year term.

Mock will add area business and financial expertise to our outstanding Board. This is a natural extension of the robust partnership between the University and United Bank."

D.F. Mock III is deeply committed to West Virginia. After graduating with his BSBA from West Virginia University, he began his career at United Bank serving in various positions within the commercial credit and lending line of business. Over the subsequent 20 years, he has taken on managerial and leadership roles of increasing responsibility for United, culminating in becoming the state's Regional President in 2018. He also completed the Executive MBA program at West Virginia University early in his tenure with the Bank. He is very active in his community, serving on boards including Highmark West Virginia, Inc., the Clay Center for the Arts & Sciences in West Virginia, Education Alliance, WV Chamber of Commerce, and Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond's West Virginia Industry Roundtable. He is also a member of Christ Church United Methodist. Mock resides in Charleston, WV, with his wife Juli and daughters Haydon and Harper.
