Scheduled Construction Projects

The following construction projects by York Water Co. are scheduled the week beginning September 2, 2024 and will affect traffic in the City of York. Pending weather or other unexpected events, the projects will affect the indicated roads:

Road Closure

• S. Penn St. from W. College Ave. to W. Princess St. (Wednesday, September 4th 7:00 am - 5:00 pm).
• S. Penn St. from W. College Ave. to W. Princess St. (Thursday, September 5th 7:00 am - Friday, September 6th 3:00 am).This will include prep work to tie-in a water main during the day and then the tie-in starting at 9 pm Thursday night running into Friday morning).
• Pennsylvania Ave. from N. West St. to N. Belvidere Ave. (Tuesday, September 3rd - Wednesday, September 4th 7:00 am - 4:00 pm)
  Pennsylvania Ave. from N. Belvidere Ave. to N. Hawthorne St. (Tuesday, September 3rd 7:00 am - 4:00 pm).

Lane Closures

• E. Market St. between N. Hartman St. to N. East St. (Tuesday, September 3rd - Friday, September 6th 9:00 am - 3:00 pm).
