Missing person found safe after search in Brackley, Prince Edward Island

At approximately 2:10 a.m. PEI RCMP received a call of a missing person who was last seen in the water in the Brackley area of PEI.

Multiple resources were deployed, including RCMP, RCMP Police Dog Service and drones, North Shore Fire Department, New Glasgow Fire Department, and Island EMS. Boats from the Fire Departments and one fishing boat also assisted in the search. The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC) was also activated and Coast Guard Helicopter deployed.

This came to a positive resolution thanks to the coordination of various emergency services that can be deployed to ensure safety and security across PEI.
