NCPD officers taking supplies to hurricane victims in Tennessee

Today, Capt. Rick Keys, Lt. Renate Dalton, and Pfc. James Stewart left for Tennessee with carloads of supplies for victims of Hurricane Helene. The flooding hit Unicoi County hard. Capt. Keys is from that county, and Lt. Dalton is also from Tennessee.

Last Thursday, Captain Keys went before the city council to get approval to donate two Tahoes to the Unicoi County Sheriff's Department. We appreciate the council members' blessing. Our agency is also grateful to the citizens who donated supplies to its "Fill the Cruiser" campaign.
