Street Closure: W 6th St N Bridge Improvements

The City of Newton's hired contractor, OEM, will be replacing the bridge approaches and installing sub-drain on W 8^th St N between the streets of N 2^nd Ave W and N 4^th Ave W starting August 5, 2024 through August 30, 2024 (weather dependent). W 8^th St N and the bridge will be closed to through traffic, barricades will be in place and a signed detour will be marked. Questions? Contact the Public Works Department at 641-792-6622.
