The Camden County Board of Commissioners is pleased to announce the winners of the 2024 Showcase Camden County Photo Contest. This year, fifty-three entries from eighteen applicants were submitted in the following categories: Landscapes, Nature/Wildlife, Sunrise/Sunset, and Transportation. A photograph from each category, along with an overall winner, was selected through a blind judging process. The judges were Rockney Carter (Elections & Registration), Scott Van Osdol (Information Technology), and Sierra Maus (Finance & Budget).

This year's category winners are: Terri King's "Fireworks on the River" for Landscape; Carlos Barber Jr's "Grasshopper" for Nature/Wildlife; Sarah Manning's "Sailboats Await Passage" for Sunrise/Sunset; and Greg Holt's "Boat in a Storm" for Transportation. The overall winner was Terri King's "Fireworks on the River". All winners were formally honored at the Board of Commissioners meeting on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.

The winning photos will be on display at the Camden County Government Services Complex in Woodbine. The Board of Commissioners will use these photographs in various promotions and publications, and appropriate credit will be given to the photographers when used.

Information about the next Showcase Camden County Photo Contest will be available in summer 2025.
