Building Permit Fees Waived

Building permit and inspection fees are being waived for commercial and residential properties in Daytona Beach from Sept. 1 through March 1, 2025. Eligible projects include, but are not limited to, new construction, interior renovations, roof replacements, electrical and fire suppression system upgrades and new fences, doors, windows, driveways and air conditioners.

Permit applications are available online or can be picked up at the Permits and Licensing office at City Hall at 301 S. Ridgewood Ave. The Permits and Licensing office is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
