City Council Seeks Volunteers for Commission Openings

The Colorado Springs City Council invites residents to apply for volunteer positions on two commissions that contribute to our community's growth and development.

Openings:

Civil Service Commission

Oversees rules for the classification, employment, promotion, and discipline of civil service employees in the police and fire departments.

  • Meetings: 1st Tuesday of each month at 8:30 a.m., City Administration Building, 30 S. Nevada Ave. Suite 102
  • Vacancy: One (1) voting member

Law Enforcement Transparency and Advisory Commission (LETAC)

Advises the City Council on improving relations and understanding between the public and Colorado Springs Police Department.

  • Meetings: 1st Monday of every month at 5 p.m., City Hall, 107 N. Nevada Ave. Pikes Peak Room
  • Vacancy: One (1) voting member
