ROCK HILL, SOUTH CAROLINA - Former minor league baseball player and now inspirational speaker Chris Singleton will appear at Winthrop University on Tuesday, Sept. 17, to headline three events.

Singleton, whose mother, Sharonda Coleman-Singleton, was killed in the 2015 Mother Emanuel Church tragedy in Charleston, South Carolina, will speak on resilience, forgiveness and unity.
